Leading the piecemeal frontend transition from Rails to React. Implementing the most feature development the core product has seen in half a decade.

Have been the sole contact for operations such as Heroku pipelines, AWS products, and CDN implementation.


Senior Developer 2014 - 2017

Lead front-end developer on multiple new product based projects built with React. Experienced and implemented very early flux models like flummox and fluxxor.

Transitioned codebases from SASS to css-modules.




One of the most popular entertainment Slack commands, RighGIF responds with the right gif, every time.

I built this with two other developers as a side project.


General Assembly

Lead Instructor 2014 - 2015

With global reach, General Assembly is responsible for some of the most sought after courses within technology, business and design.

I was the lead instructor for the 10 week front end development course. Every Monday and Wednesday night, I spend three intensive hours with the class. I ran three part time courses, numerous one off classes and sat on educational panels. This was my opportunity to start giving back, and I cherish teaching others immensely.

Lonely Planet

UI Developer 2012 - 2014

The largest travel guide book publisher in the world, Lonely Planet attracts brand partnerships from all industries.

I worked in the Client Solutions team, creating websites and social media applications for clients like Singapore Airlines, Nikon, Warner Bros., The BBC and a whole bunch of tourism bodies. These solutions were mostly static using jQuery and Knockout. On occasion where a backend was required, we used CakePHP.
